Music Teachers of Hyde Park is an alliance of independent private music teachers serving Chicago’s Hyde Park, Kenwood, South Shore, and Woodlawn neighborhoods. As a professional association, we emphasize camaraderie, collegiality and collaboration.
We run a variety of programs to enhance our student’s opportunities to experience, learn and make music.
Our dues-paying membership is as diverse as the communities we serve. We teach virtually all instruments and styles of music — from the piano to the oud and from opera to jazz. Consult our membership directory to find the private music teacher who is right for you.
Membership is open to anyone who teaches privately in Hyde Park, Kenwood, Woodlawn, and/or South Shore. Annual dues are $40.
